🎵 We’re gonna have a good day. 🎵

I woke up this morning and Good Day was the first song we played in our house to get our energy pumping and positivity pulsating through the air. So what does a good day entail?

Well, there have been a lot of changes in our home recently. What I am finding is that finding ways of being productive every day makes my day good.

What does productivity look like? I’ve got to do four things to feel like the day was productive.

First and foremost, a good night’s sleep. I do not function properly on anything under 6 hours. Seriously. Did that happen? Yes!

Next, I have to meditate. I can be all over the place energetically if I’m not centered and focused. Positive affirmations and meditation help center and focus me. As well as calm any anxiety I may be experiencing. I am anxious and excitable by nature. I got two five minute meditations in! I feel amazing!

Then, I have to go outside the walls of my home. Whether it’s a short walk, please wear a mask, or a nice car drive, getting out of the house is imperative to my happiness and sanity. We went for a drive and it was glorious. Getting out for no reason beyond the walls of our home, but not endangering the lives of others is really important during the this time. Another check on my list.

Finally, I have to have spent time working on a project, whether it be schoolwork, my book or this blog, as some examples. Well, as you can see, I did some blogging. I also did some homework, which was awesome. Being structured and staying productive is my cure to the new normal we all are experiencing.

I woke up this morning and said it was gonna be a good day… and it was.
