I don't drink coffee anymore, but it was a big part of my life for a while! I still have an awesome French press to help caffeinate guests and loved ones :)


But I have found other ways to stay LIFTED and focused during the pandemic -- meditating, connecting with friends and family over Zoom, going for drives, going for walks, or watching TV shows that help keep me light (like Black AF or I Love Lucy!) Drinking tea is good too.


We all need a little extra lift right now. Whether it's your morning espresso or evening FaceTime connection, I hope you are finding something or someone to help fuel you during this time.

Let me tell you, it has been a week! Right now we're shooting the second season of The Unicorn. (Are y'all caught up??)


We're filming episode 211 and we did our table read of episode 212 today. Our team is amazing: making sure we are camera-ready and also keeping us safe during the pandemic 😷


I could not be more grateful that this season is dealing with some really important issues like social injustice; we're not sugar coating anything but really getting in there and having the difficult conversations onscreen. It's intense, but it's worth it. Michelle is getting to find her purpose outside of the family, too, this season, which I think is really important for her growth.
